Products Liability occurs when you are injured by a faulty product. There are many products which have the potential for serious injury, such as lawn mowers, ladders, and power tools. Also, medical devices may be products as well. Pursuing a products liability case is quite complicated and almost always requires the services of an attorney.

What is the statute of limitations in products liability cases?
The statute of limitations for negligence is two years. However, there may be a longer statute of limitations for warranty. Thus, because of this overlap it would be a good idea to contact an attorney as soon as possible to determine when the statute of limitations runs. Also, in warranty cases it may be necessary to notify the manufacturer of the product within a very short time frame. |
